Large-scale bespoke steel package including two structures, intumescent coating and hollowcore slab installation.
The project involved the design, supply and installation of two steel structures weighing a combined 109 tonnes, with both structures coated in 1-hour intumescent paint.
Supersteel also installed over 88 bespoke hollowcore concrete slabs across two levels, including a specially engineered curved steel lintel to satisfy both structural and architectural requirements.
The main structure totalled 100.24 tonnes and required coordinated fabrication and installation alongside concrete planks across two levels.
After holding down bolts were damaged during groundworks, the team carried out an onsite consultation, drilled new holes and rapidly designed new base plates to avoid major programme delays.
